nCoat: high-performance coatings
nCoat's Whitsett facility began production in 2006. The firm's powder coating formula was initially developed as a treatment for soil erosion and is now used to protect engine components. Today, nCoat's products are playing a role in helping to drive down vehicle emissions. The coatings have been a big hit with diesel engine makers as they allow high-temperature exhaust gases to be recirculated, burning off particlulates in the process. (Image credit: nCoat)
