Measuring conductivity
Graduate research assistant Ruxandra Costescu uses time-domain thermoreflectance to measure the thermal conductivity of nanolaminates. The picosecond pump-probe metrology tool is part of the Laser Facility of the Frederick Seitz Materials Research Laboratory at the University of Illinois-Urbana.
