Diffraction pattern
The image shows diffraction patterns created by tags consisting of three gratings (HFG to QFG), showing how the team obtained distinguishable patterns. Moving from left to right shows how a progressive decrease in the pitch (spacing) of one of the gratings changes the diffraction pattern. The brightest, first order diffraction spots are highlighted.
