Interview: Aixtron buys Nanoinstruments
Aixtron, a German supplier of gas-phase deposition equipment to the semiconductor industry, has acquired Nanoinstruments, a UK manufacturer of chemical vapour deposition (CVD) and plasma-enhanced systems for growing carbon nanotubes (CNTs). Paul Hyland, CEO of Aixtron, shares the company's thoughts on the nanotechnology sector and explains why now is the right time to add the Cambridge University spin-off to its portfolio.
