Confocal images of cells incubated with SWNTs
Multi-channel confocal images of Hep G2 cells after incubation with FA-SWNTs for 1 h (left 1 column), 3 h (left 2 column) and 5 h(left 3 column). The green fluorescence from the outside to the inside of cells shows the uptake pathway of FA-SWNTs into cancer cells. Right 1 column: multi-channel confocal images of Hep G2 cells incubated in FA-SWNTs for 3 h with pretreatment of free FA blocking. The concentrations of FA-SWNTs in all groups are 20 μg ml−1.
