Large-Area Electronics (including printable, flexible or organic electronics) has progressed rapidly over the past decades, producing a wealth of innovation in high-tech electronics and consumer goods, such as flexible and large-area displays, smart and interactive surfaces, smart sensors and wearables, the Internet of Things, and much more.

The Innovations in Large-Area Electronics (innoLAE) conference continues to grow and establish itself as a key event for the large-area electronics community. The unique emphasis on bringing together industry and academia provides valuable opportunities to share latest research results, discuss opportunities for collaborations, and help develop this emerging area of research and innovation.

The Programme

From January 23-24, 2018, top scientists from all over the world will attend and speak at innoLAE. The programme contains speakers from 32 institutions, presenting the view from both small and large global companies, leading manufacturers and end-users, research and technology organizations and academia.

We are particularly grateful to our invited and keynote speakers who will share their vision and latest results at the conference. Keynote Professor John Rogers (Northwestern University) is internationally renowned for designing and developing electronic devices that can bend, stretch, twist and be integrated with the human body. Keynote Dr Davor Sutija (CEO Thinfilm ASA) is a highly sought-after speaker, presenting around the globe on topics including the Internet of Things, the convergence of physical and digital worlds, and the future of smart packaging.

The innoLAE 2018 conference programme boasts a great coverage of the large-area electronics field - combining scientific excellence, manufacturing advances and commercial opportunity. Featuring 8 sessions the programme pays attention to a full range of conference themes:

- Energy Harvesting
- Emerging Materials and Technologies
- Wearable and Flexible Hybrid Electronics
- IoT & Sensor Technologies
- Manufacturing
   - New approaches
   - Rheology, metrology and QC
