Advancing Plastic Electronics with Nanotechnology

Advances in nanotechnology are moving hand in hand with applications for plastic electronics. There is a growing list of examples that help realise electronics based on novel material formulations and processes, used in a wide range of applications, making new devices and performance improvements possible.

Through a number of invited talks this workshop will highlight some of the issues facing plastic electronics and illustrate how some of the advances of Nanotechnologies are being employed to make plastic electronics more viable. A discussion session titled “How can nanotechnology help plastic electronics” is planned for the afternoon. All delegates are expected to actively contribute to this discussion.
