Obtaining a resolution of less than one nm the new systems combine power and precision. The resolution of the actuator is only limited by the stability (e.g. noise) of the electronics. The resonant frequency of up to 60 kHz, and extreme high accelerations of >100.000 m/sec² allow for the use in many highly dynamic applications.
