Elliot Scientific has announced that it has been appointed distributor in the UK and Ireland for the KLASTECH – Karpushko Laser Technologies GmbH - and their single frequency DPSS range of lasers.
KLASTECH’s new generation of compact solid-state lasers operating at the key wavelengths of 266 nm, 488 nm, 532 nm and 1064 nm, are based on a unique proprietary technology that provides ultra-high second harmonic conversion efficiency when compared to other DPSS architectures. They also feature:
- Single frequency output by design
- Single longitudinal mode
- Zero ‘green’ noise: no fundamental wavelength leakage
- Diffraction limited beam with rock solid beam pointing stability
- Ultra low noise running
- More than 100 m coherence length
- Direct modulation capability: unique for a DPSS laser
Thermal management is provided by the built-in TEC heat pump that only requires the laser head to be mounted on a suitable metal base to act as a heatsink.
