Compact Actuators with Non-Rotating Tip Oct 17, 2011
Taking into consideration the customers‘ wishes, OWIS® have extended the existing product line MMS 19 actuators with non-rotating tip by two new variants.
The MMS 19 with the usual 2-phase step and DC servo motorization is now available with 12 mm travel. Instead of the Hall-effect limit switches, mechanical switches can be integrated, too.
The non-rotating tip reduces transmission of parasitic vibrations to the actuated body as well as heat caused by friction. For example, the mirror holder K 100 can be adjusted without transmission of heat. High actuating force and accurate positioning with very small resolution are easily to be reached, when using the MMS 19.
