The CNSTM is a simple to use and highly affordable yet powerful ambient STM capable of obtaining atomic resolution yet able to image areas as large as 10 microns across.
The CNSTM is an ambient Scanning Tunneling Microscope (STM) capable of obtaining atomic resolution imaging, point spectroscopy, nanomanipulation and large-scale imaging up to areas as large as 10 microns. This system was designed to be both affordable and easy enough to use to be used in the classroom yet precise enough to be used as a research tool for even the most demanding of samples.
The microscope comes complete with passive vibration isolation.
