The 2nd International Conference on ‘Advanced Nanomaterials and Nanotechnology (ICANN-2011)’ is being organized jointly by the Department of Physics and Centre for Nanotechnology at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IITG), India during Dec 8-10, 2011.
This is going to be another major international conference being held in the North-Eastern region of India, in the area of Nanoscience and Nanotechnolgy.
The international conference intends to bring the eminent scientists, technologists and young researchers from several disciplines across the globe together to provide a common platform for discussing their achievements and newer directions of research. The ICANN-2011 conference is focused on Advanced Nanomaterials for nanoengineering and recent advances in nanotechnology, covering fields from theory and experiment to applications of nanostructured materials in technology. The scientific program will consist of plenary sessions, invited talks, oral and poster presentations.
The conference will deliberate on the frontier areas of Nano Science and Technology that include:

B Nanoscale characterisation
C Nanophotonics & Nanoelectronics
D Nanobiotechnology

Call for Abstract:
Prospective authors are requested to submit One Page (A4 size) Abstract following the guidelines provided in "Abstract / Manuscript Submission" link. Details of manuscript submission will be posted later.
